Not gonna lie, I like this movie better than a lot of others, I do find the death scene emotional but the jokes do mess it up a bit. Death is not funny. Thankfully DreamWorks fixed it up as time went on, I didn’t see humour when Oogway ascended, in the flashbacks in Kung Fu Panda 2 especially when Po remembers the last time he saw his mother (just hearing baby Lotus cry for her and seeing adult Po briefly break down is quite sad, seeing how bubbly he is) or when Pitch destroyed Sandy and the little funeral the guardians gave him (admit it, you didn’t see that coming). Plus the bit before the funeral, I can imagine it being like that when the queen died. Nice job!
